As part of the ULI Hines Student Competition 2025, The Crux envisions a transformative, mixed-use urban development along Cleveland’s eastern shore, fostering economic opportunity, connectivity, and environmental resilience. Our proposal reimagines the underutilized waterfront, integrating Lakeshore Green—a vibrant public space—and the Lakeshore Opportunity Hub, a catalyst for job creation, workforce training, and sustainable innovation.
